Kitiro is one of my 3rd-Year University Projects I worked on, comprising of creating a full interactive prototype of a travel application that had to have a coherent narrative. I also had to conduct numerous tests of UX, Heuristics, and user testing focus groups, to eventually create the best version.
My Idea is to create an App that lets the user create their own Virtual Building in the CBD of Melbourne. To do so, the user is required to visit the 10 tallest buildings in the city. Each building they encounter will give them more floors on their virtual tower. There is not set order, so the user is required to visit each building at their own pace and directions unlike a treasure hunt. This is more of a Jigsaw metaphor because there is nor set order but ultimately each location needs to be discovered to create the tallest tower. However, it is also a Domino style experience because depending on the order of the journey, the tower will look different for each user. The app will have a game like interface that will have a slice of each tower that is visited. These slices will be stylized version of each towers distinctive features so depending on the order, the tower will look different depending on the route taken.
