Fanxin is a Chinese Twisty Puzzle manufacturer that specialises in shape modifications of the original Rubik's cube and its variants. They reached out to me after seeing my work with Speed Cube Australia and asked me to create the instruction manuals for their upcoming dinosaur and fruit shape mods for the 3x3x3 cube and 2x2x3 cubes.
Not only did they ask me to design the layout and graphics, but also the images and even the algorithms that went with the instructions on how to solve the puzzles. I did user testing on the public, to see if the instructions were clear enough for them to approve. Eventually, the CEO messaged me personally and said that he was very happy with the result and would be happy to do more freelancing with me on future projects like this.
